Jay Rappazzo D.C., RMT, Dip. Ac., ART
Dr. Jay has always been fascinated with health and the human body. His studies began at the University of Guelph, Ontario, where he received an honors degree in Fine Art with a focus on sculpture of the human body. At Guelph, Jay became diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. Although initially devastating, this disease provided Jay with an invaluable understanding of the inner workings of the human body. After years of failed allopathic interventions and multiple surgeries, Jay became disillusioned with conventional medicine and found relief in chiropractic care and contemporary acupuncture, which emphasize the human body’s natural capability to heal itself. After graduating from university, Jay completed a four-year Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Ontario. During his time at CMCC, Dr. Jay obtained a diploma in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from Mc Master University in Hamilton, Ontario and completed a diploma in Massage Therapy from the Ontario College of Health and Technology, in Stoney Creek, Ontario.
Dr. Jay is also a Certified Active Release Techniques Provider.
Dr. Jay takes an integrative and individualized approach when treating patients incorporating Chiropractic Treatments with Contemporary Acupuncture, Active Release Techniques, Massage Therapy, Nutritional Supplementation and Education to help his patients with the relief of pain, the restoration of proper muscle function, and the prevention of injury and disease.
